TIME WELL SPENT
2019
The repetitive act of cutting metal submerges the maker into meditation, a humming of surfaces being trespassed by a blade. The bench ends up snowed with brass-flakes and the mind wanders to faraway places in the quest of understanding the presentness, the motivation. Time flies by, changes are slower. To master a skill one has to forget the aim and focus on the task at hand.
